This process may seem vague if you’ve never been through it. But there is a definitive method to putting your Retirement plan in place. Here are some graphics designed to help explain it
Our mission is to assist our clients within all stages of the retirement planning process in developing a well-diversified plan, encompassing all facets of planning, to include: Risk mitigation, Income Planning as well as tax planning. We achieve the highest caliber plan design though the utilization of a team approach drawing elite leaders from all sectors of the financial service industry.
Discover
Initially, we’re going to spend a lot of time learning about you. This is where you get to tell your story, whether it be about money or otherwise. Many experiences influence how we deal with our finances, so we’ll explore various areas of your life. You’ll get prompted with questions and we will listen while taking copious notes. We’ll explore where you’ve come from, where you see yourself now, and what you want the future to look like. If you’re not 100% certain, that’s ok too, we will assist in creating some loose parameters in place based on the information you have provided.Â
Plan
Then we will give you a list of things we will need to start putting a plan together. You’ll complete our first session with a good picture and complete idea as to what and how to gather the necessary data and submit it to your personal document vault.
We will then spend a couple of days to a week analyzing your situation through various lenses and designing various scenarios as to how you can achieve what you would like in the future. The important thing to remember is that this is YOUR plan, we are just going to give you some guidelines and options on how to achieve it.
Once we’ve discussed your options and recommendations and you’re comfortable with, then we’ll put your plan into action.
Monitor
We will talk regularly – via email, phone and in-person, we like to review at least twice annually. We will ensure your plan fits as life changes, making changes to the plan to ensure you’re still on the perfect trajectory to achieve your retirement goals. A good retirement income plan is a living, breathing document. Much like out United States Constitution, it has its core principles but is designed to evolve as times change.
